The name ELMA has a tradition, which goes back to a technology company, which was founded by the today’s management board member Peter Puschner in the year 1972 in Aachen Germany. Under ELMA – TECHNIK a new generation of machines equipped with modern control- and power electronic was developed and successful introduced at well-known enterprises and manufacturers.

Arc sensor technology for welding robots, full electronic welding power sources for pulsed arc welding, high quality computer-guided TIG power sources for aircraft constructions and nuclear technology as well as AC- technology with high frequency-free polarity switching are combined with the name ELMA.

The technological market leadership confirmed by world-wide given patents and the 1996 obtained honorary professor is combined with the name ELMA and Puschner.
Because of the cooperation between the patent association ELMA – IVG and DALEX the 1990 drafted conception in Aachen Germany could be realised in a processor based control system for technological processes, which delivers as “VIRTUAL MACHINE” day by day in several thousand arc welding machines reproducible welding technology.

Objective of the ELMATECH is the technological market leadership in the welding technology, customer orientated operation with problem solutions, the manufacturing of products with high quality and product reliability state-of-the-art. On exactly that tradition the management of ELMATECH has committed oneself.
